Kamui Kobayashi (born on September 13th, 1986) is a racing driver from Hyogo, Japan. He started karting at age 9, then won the All Japan Junior Karting Championship in 2000 and the All Japan Karting Championship ICA class in 2001. In 2001, he got a Formula Toyota Racing School (FTRS) scholarship. In 2002 for his 15th birthday, he obtained a limited motor sports license and made his four-wheel racing debut with Formula Toyota. In 2004, he became a Toyota Young Drivers Program (TDP) driver and competed in Formula races in Europe. He won the GP2 Series in 2008 and the GP2 Asia Series in 2009. From 2010, Kobayashi started competing full time in F1, placing 3rd in the 2012 Japanese GP. In 2015, he started competing in Super Formula in Japan. In 2016, he competed full time in WEC. In 2017, Kobayashi got the pole position in 24 Hours of Le Mans and set a course record. In the 2019-2020 WEC season, he won his first championship with four wins. In the 2021 season, he won his first 24 Hours of Le Mans in the GR010 Hybrid (No. 7) Hypercar and also won the WEC for the second time in a row. José María López (born on April 26th, 1983) is an Argentine racing driver. He started karting at age 7. In 2001, he moved to Europe and competed in junior formula races in different countries. In 2002, he became the Italian Formula Renault champion. In 2005, López moved up to GP2. In 2007, he started competing in the American Le Mans Series in the GT category and in the FIA GT Championship. He then temporarily returned to Argentina. In 2014, he went back to Europe and competed full time in WTCC, winning the championship three consecutive years. Brendon Hartley (born on November 10th, 1989) is a New Zealand racing driver. He started karting at age 6. At age 13, won the Formula Ford Festival in New Zealand. In the following year, he got a scholarship from a world-famous beverage company and competed in Formula races around Europe. In 2009, he got an offer to be a reserve and test driver for an F1 team, but turned it down and concentrated on racing. He then made spot appearances in GP2. From 2012, Hartley competed in endurance races such as WEC and 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2017, he won both the Le Mans and WEC titles. In 2018, he became a regular F1 driver. In 2019, Hartley was also an F1 test driver. In the second half of 2019, he joined Toyota Gazoo Racing. In the 2019-2020 WEC season, he teamed up with Sébastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima to win 24 Hours of Le Mans and place 2nd in the series. In the 2021 season, he finished 2nd in the series. This season, Hartley will team up with Sébastien Buemi and Ryo Hirakawa and aim to win WEC and Le Mans.
Ryo Hirakawa (born on March 7th, 1994) is a racing driver from Hiroshima, Japan. He started karting in 2007. In 2008, he competed in the All Japan Junior Karting Championship for the first time and won it along with the title. In 2009, he trained at the Formula Toyota Racing School (FTRS) and became the youngest driver ever to obtain a JAF International Limited License A at age 16 and 1 month. In 2012, he won the Japanese Formula 3 Championship. In 2013, he competed in Super Formula. In 2015, Hirakawa competed full time in Super GT's GT500 class and won two races. In 2017, together with Nick Cassidy, they both won the Super GT title as the youngest duo (both age 23) in the race's history. In 2016 and 2017, Hirakawa also competed in the European Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2018, he resumed competing in Super Formula and was ranked 2nd in 2020. In 2021, he missed one race, but ended up ranked 4th. Even in the Super GT GT500 class, he competed for the title every year until 2021.
